| EEDay, Rise Up | |||

The debut record from the former leader of the reggae band Urban
Fire is immediately accessible and radio friendly, while remaining
true to both the roots and the street. Fronting Urban Fire, EEDAY
performed to sold-out houses throughout Southern California. EEDAY
still commands the audience, whether in the Marley style soul of
"Rise Up," the R&B crossover flair of "I Can't
Stop Thinking About You," or the Euro-dance/ska beat of "I
Fell In Love Too Late." He is one of the few artists who has
been able to successfully combine a smooth lyrical singing style
with original rap and toast. He is now ready to tackle the nation
and has already received airplay on KROQ, KSBR and KCRW as well
as been featured in the soundtracks to the films Breaking the
Rules, Jamaica Beat, In Too Deep and the upcoming
Alan Rudolph movie, Sandcastle. "Rise Up" featuring Eeday "Move Your Feet" featuring Eeday |
