JUMP IN TO DOUBLE DUTCH: Frank's recent release, JUMP IN! was the highest rated film premier in Disney Channel history and the soundtrack has hit Top 10 in nearly all of the Billboard Charts: Billboard 200, Top Digital Albums, Top Soundtracks, Top Kid Audio and the Billboard Comprehensive Albums Charts. Fitzpatrick composed the score and wrote and produced songs for the film about the world of Double Dutch: "Jump," starring Keke Palmer from Akellah & the Bee and Corbin Bleu from High School Musical.
BLUE NOTE/ANGEL COLLABORATION WITH PETER ASHER: Frank produced songs for the new Classical-Crossover Duet release SIREN for Blue Note/EMI records along with renowned Executive Producer Peter Asher. Artists Sasha & Shawna can be seen performing music from the CD on the PBS special, Heavenly Voices.
LARRY SANDERS DVD RELEASE: A 4-DVD box set drawn from all six seasons of the Larry Sanders Show was finally released by Sony Pictures. The collection features 23 episodes and features 8 hours of bonus material. Shandling re-visits the show's cast and guest stars including Jerry Seinfeld, Alec Baldwin, Sharon Stone, David Duchovny, Carol Burnett, Jon Stewart, Ellen Degeneres, Jeremy Piven, Sarah Silverman, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Greg Kinnear, and Tom Petty. Frank was the Music Director and Composer for the theme and music behind HBO's entire run of the critically acclaimed and award winning sit-com. His theme was selected as Best Theme on TV by Entertainment Weekly.
REFLECTIONS PREMIERS ON BET: Reflections premiered on BET and features Frank's main title song "Life" with neo-soul princess Lina. Reflections was directed by Gina Prince-Blythewood (Love and Basketball) and is part of a very cool educational series to help teach teens about aids and prevention. The series is also being presented at middle schools and high schools across the country.
NO ORDINARY GIRL: Frank's song, "Jump to the Rhythm" is featured on Jordan Pruitt's debut release on Hollywood Records, No Ordinary Girl. There is a music video for the song, featuring Jordan and clips from the Disney film, Jump In! Jordan is already becoming a household name among teens, having opened for both the High School Musical and Cheetah Girls concert tours.
SCENES IN JAZZ: Frank is producing a jazz album of his original songs and film themes. The band includes Mitch Forman (piano), Dave Carpenter (Bass), Joel Taylor (drums) and John Fumo (trumpet) and featured singers recorded so far include Marla Gibbs, Les Nubians, Spanky Wilson, John Proulx and Lina. The CD will include the first video release of Frank's award-winning short film, Jungle Jazz. Proceeds from the project will go toward music and arts education for youth.
ANOTHER SCARY MOVIE: Frank produced and co-wrote the title track for Scary Movie 4, "Crooked Letter" featuring rapper Young Huss. The song is also available on the Scary Movie 4 soundtrack album.
THE MYTH CONTINUES: Executive Producer Frank Fitzpatrick is finishing production for dance-opera diva Sasha Lazard's long-awaited follow up to the Myth of Red CD. The original Myth of Red, also produced by Fitzpatrick, reached #13 on Billboard's Classical Crossover Charts and had 2 charting Dance Hot Pick's (the Delerium remix of Frank's first single "Awakening" and his collaboration with DJ Spooky "Battle of Erishkigal").
BIG MAMA STRIKES AGAIN: Frank's co-write and production with Hip Hop Connect "Just Bounce" was featured in the film Big Mama's House 2 and on the bonus EP soundtrack (shipped with the DVD release).
SCORING FOR DISNEY: Frank composed the score and co-wrote and produced the theme song for Disney's animated comedy adventure "The Proud Family Movie". The movie is a spin-off from the Disney Channel's hit TV series. The soundtrack album is being released by Disney Records and, in addition to Frank's "Right Here" (performed by Jhene), features music from Omarion of B2K and Destiny's Child. Be sure to pick up a copy of the CD.
PERFECT SUMMER GIGS: Frank decided to break up the August heat escape from the Hollywood mayhem to teach a workshop on creativity in the Maltese Islands, right in the middle of the deep blue Mediterranean Sea. Might have to do that one again.
SANTANA VOICE FOR THE ANGEL: Frank recorded Andy Vargas (Lead singer for Santana) as the latest addition to the soundtrack of the short film version of his animated film, THE REBEL ANGEL. Other artists who collaborated with Frank on the soundtrack include DJ Spooky, DJ Stiles of the Delinquent Habits, Jazz of Dru Hill, Reggae master E-Day, Trance-Opera diva Sasha Lazard and the National Symphony of Venezuela.

ULTRAMIX IN MIAMI: Renown VJ (video artist) Vello Virkhaus recently presented a live video remix of scenes from The Rebel Angel as part of the Ultra party at the main stage of the Miami Winter Music Conference. Frank and Vello created the remix together for the event and as part of Jungle Cinema Live™ - an immersive entertainment nightclub experience being developed by Frank’s multi-media company Jungle Cinema.
LIL’ PIMP ON THE LOOSE: The infamous animated film from Revolution/Sony Pictures, Lil’ Pimp (Bernie Mac, Lil’ Kim, Ludacris, William Shatner, Mystical) was finally released on DVD by Lions Gate and is flying off the shelves of your local stores. This is truly a classic you won’t want to miss. Frank composed the original music (see Film Score section of his site) and Director Mark Brooks went on to become Art Director and lead animator for Frank’s film The Rebel Angel.
JAZZ & LOVELY IN MEXICO: Jungle Jazz: Public Enemy #1, Frank's award winning short film from the Jungle Cinema series recently had it Mexican premier, opening for Henry Winkler's De-Lovely (Kevin Kline) at the Puerto Vallarta Film Festival, followed by a New Orleans style jazz reception. FADE TO BLACK SEES LIGHT: Frank co-wrote and produced Fade to Black, a new compilation CD featuring great independent Hip Hop artists and some industry vets (Jazz of Dru Hill, Tre from The Pharcyde, The Delinquent Habits, Lina). Check it out at www.hiphopconnect.com, a new venture started with co-producer Jorge Corante (Outkast, Janet, Seal).
SCARY CD JOINS DVD: Be sure to pick up the soundtrack from Scary Movie 3, produced by Frank Fitzpatrick (all the songs in the box office record-breaker (now on DVD) were also co-written and produced by Frank).
DADDY’S SONG FEATURED: Check out the urban soundtrack for My Baby’s Daddy (Miramax) featuring a great single from Frank performed by Lina with Akil of Jurassic 5.
WAKING THE BUDDHA: The Delerium remix of Frank’s single “Awakening” from Sasha Lazard’s Myth of Red can be found on the latest Buddha Bar compilation.
LOOKING FOR ANGELI: People looking for the Sasha Lazard song “Angeli” from the BBC movie Kissed by an Angel, can find it on her debut album, The Myth of Red, which is currently available in stores and from the record label's website www.higheroctave.com.
SASHA REIGN IN TORONTO: For the second year running, the Toronto Int'l Film Festival selected a song from Sasha as the theme for the festival (playing before all films in official competition). The 2003 festival featured Frank’s song Angeli and 2004 films were introduced by a new song, Miles Away, produced by Bliss and to be featured on Sasha’s upcoming sophomore album.
